Uninor’s plans are reasonable but its internet speed is very slow and while browsing on mobile it doesn’t often connect showing as network busy and packet data connection closed by network

  • Raghu September 18, 2010 3:11 pm

yes exactly what u said aby Docomo is right

  • lee September 18, 2010 3:02 pm

I have a little research which shows that

    How many of u agree???

All of you click on http://www.mobilespeedtest.com and check ur speeds.

I here get i speed of 10kbis with my BSNL.

An edge should provide atleast 250kbis of speed.
    Yes u heard it right.
Come on. . . Go check it 4 ur self’s.

How many of u feel betrayed?

  • lee September 18, 2010 2:48 pm

    perfect answer.
There r times even i have got speed’s up to 50kbis while downloading, but @ d same time surfing sucks. Coz d speed keeps on droping. This is on docomo.

But on BSNL, super silk smooth surfing. The speed does not drop @ all it’s remains constant through the surfing. Super. I really liked the BSNL. But there is a catch, d speed never went above 10kbis. The speed remains the same while surfing and downloading which is a bit annoying. But it works perfect on my phone without any hesistation.

I would advice any user who wants to surf on ur phone, just go 4 BSNL. It’s my word.

i m using uninor gprs since 2 months in orissa.the first month was quite good.it showed good speed for around20 days.but this month the service has been very bad.and the cc keeps on telling the server is down.really unlimited gprs plan(3gb)b’cause u will never be able to use 3gb

  • Raghu September 17, 2010 11:51 pm

good going by Uninor. but they have to match up to Docomo Standards in GPRS

  • lee September 17, 2010 11:12 pm

but BSNL 2g which i am using right now shows E.

  • babu September 17, 2010 9:42 pm

In chennai most of the BSNL towers are not EDGE enabled and speed always below 10 kbps. One of the worst gprs service in chennai.

  • lee September 17, 2010 9:18 pm

    I Cant believe this!

Is this d reason i am getting slow speed in kerala?
But in my phone its shows EDGE in a box.
I always get a constant speed of about 10kbis not more or less .

I have used DOCOMO & even its speed is good 18-20KB/sec avg, but i haven used BSNL 2G since most of the BSNL towers are not EDGE enabled. but sometimes i use BSNL 3G in my data card & its speed is really great, i get upto 3.4mbps since my data card supports only upto 3.6mbps . but in karnataka BSNL offers upto 7.2mbps

  • lee September 17, 2010 8:01 pm
