Uninor Says Hello to Dehradun

After a very successful launch of GSM mobile services in Uttarachal and UP (W), Uninor - a joint venture between the 150 year old global telecom giant Telenor and Unitech Ltd., today announced the opening of its Uttaranchal zonal office in Dehradun.

Strengthening its presence in Uttaranchal with the opening of this zonal office, Uninor takes another step towards its commitment to being closest to customers. With the addition of this office at Dehradun, Uninor now has four zonal offices across Uttarachal and UP West.Located centrally, at NCR Plaza, Ravindranath Tagore Marg, New Cantt Road, Dehradun, this zonal office staffs the entire sales and distribution, marketing, technical and customer care teams for Uttaranchal.




Dehradun is a city of great importance for us and with our new zonal office, we are getting closer to our customers in and around the region. We are thankful to our customers in Uttaranchal for showing such confidence in Uninor and we are sure to deliver enhanced value to our customers- said Allan Bonke, Executive Vice-President, Uninor.

With the opening of this zonal office, Uninor now has offices across Agra, Bareilly Meerut and Dehradun. This zonal office is centrally located and will be responsible for entire operation, sales and marketing, technical and customer care besides providing support for retailers, distributors and franchisees for this zone. This office will be part of the state wide network of zonal offices and Uninor stores covering the entire population of Uttaranchal and UP West.

This zonal office will also help in evaluating local mobile services needs and usage patterns of subscribers across the region, which in turn helps Uninor to offer customized tariffs and more value for money options to its customers.
