Exclusive : Reliance Launches New Unlimited Voice, SMS and Data Combo Plans For CDMA, GSM and 3G Customers

India’s second largest mobile operator, Reliance Communications takes a giant jump to offer new Unlimited Plans for its high end GSM, 3G and CDMA postpaid customers across all circles. These new plans will include Unlimited Voice calls (Local/STD) to any network, Unlimited SMSes and Unlimited Data (2G/1X CDMA and 3G) with FUP on usage while in Home circle as well as National Roaming.

Reliance Communications (Rcom) introduces three Unlimited plans – first plan comes at monthly rental of Rs.899 and offers Unlimited Local and STD calls to any network from Home Network (FUP 6000 min/month) and available for both CDMA and GSM customers.The second plan comes for Rs.1299 offers Unlimited Local STD and Roaming calls, SMS and Data usage (2G or CDMA1X) to both CDMA and GSM customers across all circles.

While third plan will cost Rs.1499/month is exclusively for Reliance GSM – 3G customers wherein subscribers will get Unlimited Local, STD and National Roaming Calls (FUP 6000 min/month), SMS and 3G data usage (FUP 5 GB).

Please Note: Free SMS in Unlimited Plan-1299 and Unlimitted Plan-1499 capped at 6000 SMSes as per TRAI regulation and Unlimited 3G Data usage subject to fair usage policy of 5 GB at High Speed speed. The Free Data usage under these plans would not be applicable for Blackberry subscribers.

Reliance is always considered to make fool of its customers by bluffing.
For e.g: They are using the term “UNLIMITED CALLS” in their two expensive most plans 1299 & 1499. Its just 100 hours. So shameless for the reliance authority using such a non sense and crap lanterminology !

Sub: Reliance Communications Limited Authorisied WebWorld Dhanalakshmi communications had cheated me regarding Unlimited usage of calls( voice plan reference code:41541 ,unlimited 899 postpaid plan) which was taken on 08-08-2012.

I Kolli Eswar Chandra had booked new phone connection of 9347777479 & paid advance deposit of 1000/- in unlimited 899 plan on 08-08-2012 in Reliance Communications Limited Authorisied WebWorld Dhanalakshmi communications, 64-9-2, kanuru subbaiah complex, MG road, Vijayawada. Andhra Pradesh .(0866-3299448). They had informed me about 899 plan contains following offers such as, total free unlimited calls to any network local\ STD per month. There was a rule that if we had taken any connection in postpaid plans, without intimating the costumer they had no rights to change the plan in middle but Reliance Communications Limited said that they had changed the plan of unlimited 899 to limited of 3,60,000 seconds without any intimation & permission of me and Reliance Communications Limited cheated me & they are demanding me by sending false messages , recorded calls& Voice Calls to pay Rs.2487.84/- till dated 23-08-2012 and they barred my out going calls today Morning without intimation . I am not defaulter to your company. I am a business man and faced lot of problems and got loss to my business because on stoppage of out going calls .I intimated my number to all business people and colleagues .From past four days I am approaching call center *222 , 198 , Dhanalakshmi communications , Reliance Communications Limited., office main branch Vijayawada but there was no response from any of them. I am asking Please give back out going call connection and unlimited 899 plan immediately as per agreement made on 08-08-2012.

I had good faith on Reliance but creating these problems to the customer without responding is very very bad and it goes bad message in to the public. Right now I am ready to approach Electronic media, Print media and I will file 420 cheating case and legal proceedings in consumer Court with full witness.

the plans are more attractive less productive the last plan is having a capping and the 5gb data in the last plan is showed as unlimited….this is total misrepresentation in the name of fair use policy….what about the fair representation policy who will teach them …..sala sab dikhawa hai…..unlimited le ke bhi yahan par _+1000 ka bill aayega…..they are least trust worthy

No it is also for Existing customers through out. I don’t know about 3g 1499 plan bcoz iam using cdma phone. For 1299 it is fully unlimited voice calls, data usage through phone is unlimited, and free sms as per trai.

2) How much tax do we need to pay for all these plans extra? 12.36%
3) Can I port from operator A prepaid to Operator B Postpaid? yes you can but has to be in same name n address
4) 1299 plan Unlimited 2G also having FUP of 5 GB ? yes…speed will get trottled to 64kbps
5) 1299,1399 plans in roaming incoming & outgoing both are free right? yes
6) If the network is switching to IDEA during roaming, then all these roaming offers are applicable or not? as far as i know reliance have not yet started sharing network…at non 3g area it will switch to 2g in reliance network only
7) Do Reliance offers PAN india 3G using any ICRA or sharing?
no it does not offer 3g outside its licenced 13 circles

i confermed fro RCom showroom in Srinagar they tell me its for new connections. and after that i confremed fro Rcom CC they tell me there is only two plans are launched 899 and 1299 even they dont know full info abt these plans……. if its 5GB 3G only then its not good…… then i m happy with my 49 monthly plan with all 1p 1s L/S/R………..+99 UL RtoR

No their are four plans in tata docomo cdma in karnataka. . .
4 plans as follows.

1) 149 = unlimited local calls & 200msgs (only tata nos) 30days.

2)299 = unlimited free calling to tata nos + others + 200SMS FOR 15 DAYS

3) 399 = unlimited free cals and 200 sms for 15days nationally

4) 699 = unlimted free calls & 200 sms for 30 days nationally.

*SMS 200/DAY in all plans*

1) 149 = unlimited local calls & msgs (only tata nos).

it is truly unlimited for 1299 & 1499 plan and there is no FUP in this for Voice Calls. For Sms it is limited to 6000 as per trai.

Jab tak New telecom policy impliment nahi hota (jo ki govet ne pass kar di ahi) tab tak k liye sahi hai, uske baas roaming khatam ho jayega to Sare plan atleast half to ho hi jayega..Kyuki abhi sabse jada rona

Loca, STD aur Roaming ka hai jo ki sab ek ho jayega.

Wiat for 2 more months max

FUP in 3g is for 5gb after that speed will reduce
For 899 is only 6000 min/Month not unlimited
and for 1299 and 1499 not clear weather outgoing is also free
for 1499 3g is unlimited but not clear abt Video call weather this is also unlimited free

It should be like.

Every thing unlimited(Any network,any call any data any sms no FUP)
Eevn though not maintainig the speed of 3g..If they are not able to deliver at rated speed the rate should be less as per 2g

TATA DOCOMO unlimited plan is still better. They are providing truly unlimited L/N calls without any FUP. Reliance also should gear up with this kinda plan.

Reliance lost maximum number of customers via mnp as mnp data till june. They lost 20.73 lakh gsm and 14.73 lakh cdma customers.
They also launch these types plan for prepaid also because they are losing prepaid users more than postpaid.

yaar ye sab logo ko ullu banane ke dhande hai. jaise hi inka new cost. add karne ka target poora ho jayga waise hi TRAI ka rona rone lagenge. Max 6 months mai ye plan band hone wala hai after all itz Reliance. M cost. of reliance 2nd largest chor co. after Airtel. well jab tak pLan hai tab tak enjoy. But itz not reliable. Guys after taking this plan please share ur first bill …….

Voice and SMS is fine, the main thing that needs to be clarified is what is the FUP on 3G data, since using the term unlimited here can be very misleading, also since Reliance is not a pan India 3G license holder and is not involved in any sort of ICRA for the same, what happens to the unlimited 3G plan in non 3G circles if the subscriber goes into roaming in these circles?
