well there are cell in the market having wifi but without camera also n the china made cells of many companies are having 1.3mp or vga cam with wifi. wifi does not mean a very big thng these days and so not only a proprietary feature of costly phones with high end features. it has now become one of the basic feature.
most of the companies including samsung have dual standby mode only in major models and the second sim does shows out of network when call is answered on sim1.
in nokia Sim 2 is hot swappable, the software is made so that you can hv 1 sim (sim1) in d cell and then change d sim2 as per ur need n wish without switching off the device. in no model of samsung or china u get this facility.

Correction :
I think Nokia phones have only dual SIM feature. Other company phones have dual SIM and dual standby feature including CHINA ones. Shame on Nokia.

The phones will be waste without dual standby / active mode. I have never seen any phone with 2 MP camera and WiFi. Thats why I compared. You have already accepted the fact in the case of X2-02 and C2-00. Then?. Talk with sense.
If these phones support dual SIM and dual standby, then these phones can survive. Poor people do not have knowledge about these (dual standby matter) and just buy these kind of phones. After buying they worry unable to throw this phone out of their pockets.

All Nokia phones which has easy swap feature, they require the SIM1 must be inserted before you use SIM2 slot. Because all phones have just a slot for the extra sim which depends upon the main slot.
I don’t know why this guy is whinning about the dual Active mode. Ultimately if you are talking to someone on sim 1 then you don’t have two vocal cards to speak with them simultaneously on the other sim and still you want both working then you can forward them to one another.

Hi, Sudhakar, U can’t blame all nokia dual sim models. As the X2-02 & C2-00 is having Hot swappable external SIM 2 slot, it will work only with a sim in slot 1. Its a good feature, as it is not required to switch of cell for replacing sim. all other models having dual sim, works fine with out sim 1.
In ur second comment, I don’t understand the relation between WiFi & resolution of Camera.

Hey. I have directly seen a customer using X2-02 complaining about not working of SIM 2 without inserting any SIM in SIM 1 in Nokia care. I will not post any false information. If there is WiFi, then why the camera resolution is only 2 and 3.15 MP?. Better buy Nokia C5-00 with 5 MP camera.

hey man what else do you want in rs4500-6500 range a touchscreen,dualsim,wifi,3g is provided.I personally use nokia x1-01 dual sim and faced no such problems as you mentioned, single sim mode works in either slots without any problem.Why is it that you always face problems with nokia handsets?

Waste, crap phones. None of them have Symbian or Androin or any other multi tasking operating system installed. WiFi phone with only 2 MP camera?. LOL LOL.

Do not buy any dual sim mobile in Nokia. If you insert any valid SIM only in SIM 2, it will not work. You must insert a valid SIM in SIM 1 in order to make the SIM 2 work.
YOU CANNOT USE THE SIM IN THE SIM 2 SLOT ALONE WITHOUT A VALID SIM IN SIM 1 SLOT.
This is not the case in any branded company handsets. Shame on Nokia. Better get out from Indian market.
