    MTS Kerala User :{ Kapil, your earlier post I have replied consequent to that post. So please check that post for my reply. Hope u have checked MTS tower Km distances from one another in NH. Atleast main centers where Local BUS fare changes they should install towers. Meaning bus charge normally changes at specific distances. Mostly that point where next fare stage begins will be main town centre. At least if they follow this strategy we would have gotten good reception}
    While MTS is saying they got no money for mobile towers stipulated as minimum for CDMA, but have money to pay celebrities. Why dont MTS understand the value of mouth publicity?.
    Will anyone getting bad reception in voice recommend for Data?. MTS seems no interest in their old Voice customers. Other states it may be better.
    We are in Kochi-Thrissur route and we get mts connected calls most times wont last more than 2 minutes. Wish we were rich enough so that we could use other operators connection. MTS is the cheapest so we still use MTS. But towers are 1/3rd required minimum specified even for CDMA operators.
    We are not talking about GSM, but CDMA. Other CDMA operators have more coverage as they might be having more towers. MTS is worst in Kerala. Anyone traveling/visiting Kerala and Passing by Kochi-Thrissur route, even if it is highway please carry another connection, possibly a dual sim handset CDMA+GSM. Please go for Samsung as they got a good handset in this category.
    We are talking about main roads & NH. Other interior areas hope all can imagine the coverage.

    bro use ur MNP power. stop repeating same story again n agian.

    Haa Haa!!!Same story in every MTS related post….

    amar :
    @WiMax
    Very true. MTS share its roaming tower with tata docomo cdma.
    Tata docomo cdma is far far better than MTS and same call tariff.

    Its depend upon personal choices…
    but subscriber addition,mnp port in & out data,excitement of customers tells different story…

    Ha ha ha Avishek, but you must have noted the first Para was new, in fact was a reply to another MTS kerala user. In fact in the earlier post to him replied to him specific to his observations. Find it in 2 page of just preceding post. So you can’t say it was same.

    Then story remains same here. So why should I rephrase the story. So I would be posting the same story with necessary alterations. You can see it if you compare it with my earlier posts. Also those who want to take MTS in Kerala should be informed of present MTS service in Kerala. Earlier it was good.

    I know Avishek, in your place MTS is great. So you may find my posts annoying. But a bunch of people here are suffering in Voice services in Kerala many within my close proximity. Even in our neighboring state Tamilandu to where we all often travel, so far found good coverage.

    MTS Rates are cheapest in the business, But is expecting a little quality & stability, Is it too much for asking?.

    We are suffering here with frequent call drops now-u MTS is happy how-u
    This-u post-u for suffering Kerala MTS customers-u
    We don’t have choice-u

    Why this kolaveri kolaveri kolaveri MTS

    It is the power of tata tele network which is shared by MTS . For that they are aviable like tata docomo CDMA . I am using tata docomo CDMA since 2005. Its network is just awesome. Now a days tata network is so good is rural as well as urban. So in for tata if you like indian private operator.

    Long live MTS . Still the best among all offering the lowest call tariffs on life time tariff validity, offering handsets cheapest at just inr 600 (colour) with connection and rich mutimedia, wifi, mobiletv, android, touchphone just at inr 5000, with very good data speed with low tariffs and only the best among all the new GSM entrants offering seamless connectivity and strong network . Though Uninor and Videocon are also offering good tariffs, extra talktime but no lifetime validity on low tariffs [still mts offers lowest local and on-net tariffs than all others]and network is avilable only at urban and town areas not in rural areas. Mts network is available across all areas like old biggies but with constraints of frequent call drops at rural areas because of inr 99 for 365 validity for 2sec/mnt we do not lose much. Mts should focus on to resolve this issue then it can give tough competition to even old bggies eventhough it is on cdma platform.
