AIRCEL the fast growing Pan India telecom operator in the country in a latest move has now chosen to delight its mobile service users free mobile browsing on the new 0.facebook.com site.
According to the Aircel, presently The service is free for its subscribers in 13 telecom circles – Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, UP (E) & (W) and Madhya Pradesh.
By sponsoring 0.facebook.com AIRCEL is enabling their customers to stay connected through Facebook with their friends and family from any mobile Web browser without incurring any data charges.
Facebook’s 0.facebook.com site is optimized for speed – it is a new faster, lightweight version of Facebook’s mobile site m.facebook.com. The site does not have graphics or photos and 0.facebook.com’s pages have been designed for performance on AIRCEL network.
Photos posted on Facebook are only one click away from 0.facebook.com.To view a photo a person only needs to click on a link to the photo and they will be prompted that they are leaving 0.facebook.com. Standard data charges will apply when a person leaves 0.facebook.com to view photos.

Why is it not made free in TN???
Just bcoz, it has a huge subscriber base in TN, it’s not made free!!!!!
Similarly, Aircel doesn’t bring any good call/SMS plans to TN, which it gives in other Circles. For example in TN it provides Free 10000 Local SMS at 33 per month (but there is a limit of 100 sms per day & how cum 10000 sms in a month!!!!) but Rs34 per month for JUST 300 National SMS ( which means only national no local), so for local + national, one needs to put both these packs…
In Vodafone we get 10000 loc+nat sms @ jus Rs 38 in TN
So Why wait just move on to VF of Airtel or even uninor, only then their subscriber base will be reduced in TN, which will wake up the AIRCEL ppl in TN

Pehle apna internet ka speed to increase karo. Without that what the use of free facebook. Here the internet speed is pathetic. It will make you cry. Even the homepage takes almost 1 minute to open. And as a result of that the person at the other side goes to sleep after waiting for a long time for reply.
