Mr Sunil Prabhakar has become the first Indian to create a World Record of "Longest Phone Conversation" by speaking non- stop for 51 hours. He has successfully broken the World record held by Tony Wright of UK, which was created in September 2007.
Sunil Prabhakar of Kailash Hills New Delhi broke the existing 40 hour record of "longest phone call" held by Tony Wright by speaking continuously for more than 51 hours!
He (Sunil Prabhakar) called up from his house using a TATA INDICOM phone to Dr K. K. Agarwal, renowned Cardiologist and Head Cardiology, Moolchand Medcity, New Delhi. Dr Agarwal answered the call and initiated the conversation from "Vishal Mega Mart", Mathura Road, New Delhi. The call started on 18 September 2009 at 7 AM, later many prominent people like Director, Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering, Delhi Govt. Dr V.P.Dutta and many other registered persons joined Mr Sunil Prabhakar in the conversation, which went beyond 41 hrs till early morning of 20th September 2009 at 10 AM - a total of 51 hours.
