More than 8.8 million Sony Xperia smartphones were sold in Q1, 2014

Sony has announced its sales numbers for fiscal year 2013 (April 2013 to March 2014) today. Sony has reported sales of $75.4 billion with an operating income of $257 million, thanks to strong sales of PlayStation 4 and Xperia line-up of Android smartphones.
