PM Office Wants 5G Rollout by August 15, 2022: DoT to TRAI

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has written to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) asking the regulatory body to submit recommendations for 5G spectrum auctions before March-end. This is to ensure that the wish of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) of launching 5G networks by August 15, 2022, is successful.
