MTNL Says No to Tariff Hike

India’s First 3G Mobile Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today said that it will not going to increase call or data charges even though all leading telecom service providers hiked their tariffs by approx 20% last week.

MTNL's Executive Director (Mobile Service) Mr. A.K. Bhargava said that "In the backdrop of the industry trend of increasing call charges, MTNL is not only assuring its customers to keep the tariffs at the same level but will continue to take many other measures to further benefit its customers in Delhi and Mumbai circles."




In last few days all leading private operators like Vodafone, IDEA and Aircel following Airtel’s surprise move to hike prepaid tariff in certain circles, While MTNL reduces its its 3G Data charges in Delhi circle and also introduced various new plans with cheapest call and 3G Data offerings including Unlimited 3G Data Plans as earlier we shared on TelecomTalk.

MTNL is providing attractive tariff plans like All calls @ 50p/min, Any Call@1p/ Sec, Local MTNL network Voice and Vidoe call @ ½ p per Second etc.
