India telcos approach Supreme Court over Trai’s call drop regulation

Indian telecom operators have finally approached the Supreme Court, challenging recent High Court order that upheld the Trai's regulation mandating carriers to compensate consumers for call drop. BSNL, MTNL, C-DOT, BBNL to invest over Rs 16K crore in 2016-17: Report

State-run telecom operators BSNL and MTNL, along with Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) and BBNL have earmarked an investment of Rs 16,815 crore for the next fiscal, according to a PTI report.
