Reliance Jio Infocomm gets security clearance from DoT in its six circles

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has given security clearances to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) to start its 4G services in six circles. COAI asks Department of Telecommunications to limit testing of imported telecom equipment

GSM mobile operators add 8.21 million in subscribers in November: COAI

GSM mobile operators have added 8.21 million in subscribers in November taking the overall base to 670.25 million with, 1.24% increase over the previous month, according to the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI).
