Upgrading LTE and Introducing 5G

As part of the extensive expansion deal, Nokia, the sole Radio Access Network (RAN) supplier, is set to increase its market share in the country, according to the official release. The deployment of Nokia's 5G-ready AirScale portfolio, powered by the energy-efficient ReefShark System-on-Chip (SoC) technology, is scheduled to commence from November.

Preparing for Post 5G Auction Readiness

The deal includes a range of solutions from Nokia's 5G AirScale portfolio, featuring the latest AirScale Baseband and Remote Radio Head (RRH) products. Cellfie Mobile is gearing up to introduce 5G services after a successful spectrum auction in August. The company will upgrade existing LTE network sites and introduce new 5G (3.5 GHz) sites following the auction, as per the statement.

Cellfie will also utilize Nokia's MantaRay Network Management system, which uses built-in artificial intelligence to enhance network monitoring and management. This will allow for a consolidated view of the network, making it easier to manage and optimize network performance.
