MTS the CDMA Mobile service of SSTL today announced it’s achievement of crossing the 10 million subscriber mark in India. To celebrate this milestone the operator launched MTS Pulse the new Android Smartphone by HTC Worth Rs.18,000 For Free with Plan-1500.

From a new entrant in 2009, MTS is India ’s only pure play CDMA operator providing telecom services to over 10 million customers.




Presently the company also provides High Speed Mobile Internet- MBlaze services to over 5 lakh customers in the country. Adding to the celebrations, MTS has brought out for its customers the Android 2.1 based MTS Pulse from HTC (In US its known as Droid ERIS)– As a first Android powered Smartphone in India by MTS.

MTS Pulse from HTC comes packed with a 3.2-inch TFT-LCD Capacitive touch-sensitive screen with 320 x 480 HVGA resolution, 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus, Upto 32GB of extend-able memory (8GB card in the box)  and internal onboard memory of 512 MB flash ROM and 288 MB RAM.

Its unique HTC Footprint feature helps to memorise the footprint by saving photo of a location alongwith a precise GPS position and location information.HTC MTS Pulse also provides Google Mobile Services, including Google Maps, Gmail, Google Talk, Google Search etc.
