There has been an industry wide announcement in the country about the hiking of tariffs in the coming days. The first telecom operator amongst these was Vodafone Idea which has announced that it would hike the tariffs on December 1. Following this announcement, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio also announced that they would hike their tariffs too and now we can expect that the tariffs are bound to go up for all the operators. Reliance Jio has increased its tariffs by 15% by the introduction of the IUC recharges, meaning that the other operators have the room to increase their tariffs by 20% to 30%. However, this means that the subscribers will wish to extend their benefit well into next year even while the prices increase in the industry. But, what most prepaid customers miss out on, is the fact that there is a way to stock up on these prepaid recharges before the tariff hike so that you can use them them even after the prices have gone up. Here is how you can do it.

Queueing Recharges for Bharti Airtel Customers

Before we move ahead to explaining, how to queue recharges for Bharti Airtel prepaid subscribers, it is crucial to understand some of the prerequisites for it to happen. So, being an Airtel subscriber you might know that Airtel ships a wide variety of recharges, some of which come with only data, voice or both. There is also another category of recharges which are basically minimum recharge plans, names as Smart Recharges. Now, the subscribers of Airtel must note that they would be able to queue plans on their account, when they try to queue unlimited combo pack with unlimited combo pack. This means that the subscribers trying to queue an unlimited pack after their smart recharge or vice verse would not be able to do so and will activate the second plan right away.

So, if you are on an Airtel unlimited prepaid plan which offers combination of unlimited calling, data and other benefits. You will be able to queue another prepaid plan on top of this plan, as you recharge your number with it. You will simply have to recharge your number from Airtel Thanks app or website. We recommend that you go for the long term prepaid plans which come with more than 90 days to up to 180 days of validity for maximum benefits. After recharging, you will be able to see the status of your current plan, the left over data and the status of your upcoming plans as well in the Airtel Thanks app only. The app will also show you after how many days, your next recharge will be active. Do make a note that Airtel allows users to queue prepaid plans of up to 180 days only.

Queueing Recharges for Reliance Jio Customers

In the case of Reliance Jio also, the subscribers will have to do a similar thing. The subscribers will have to choose a plan to recharge with, and as soon as they recharge, the plan will be queued after the previous one. However, in this case, you will have to go to the My Plans section in the MyJio app and below your present plan, you will be able to see the queued plan. To activate this plan, the subscribers will have to tap on the “activate” button and confirm the activation to bring the plan into use.We recommend that Reliance Jio subscribers queue all-in-recharges for the upcoming months, since they bundle data, calling and IUC talk time as well for the customers. Some of the good options include the Rs 444 and Rs 555 prepaid plan.
