State-run telecom operator, BSNL after launching three new STVs for its prepaid customers has now extended the validity of its Promotional DATA offers under GSM prepaid mobile services for another 90 days reports keralatelecominfo. These plans were set to expire on May 6, but the good news is they will be valid for another 90 days. Plus, they now offer more data than what they used to offer previously.

Under this scheme, BSNL has 12 plans in total, out of which only seven plans will offer more data to the customers which will come into effect starting May 7, 2017. The revised plans will be valid for another 90 days, i.e. until August 7, 2017.
The seven STVs which got revised include STV 78, STV 98, STV 155, STV 156, STV 198, STV 292, and STV 3099. The premium STV 3099 now offers 1GB data per day along with unlimited voice calls (both On-net and off-net) and 1500 SMS for 60 days.
Previously, the same plan used to offer 20GB data, unlimited calling to any network across India, and 3000 SMS. BSNL, however, has reduced the SMS benefits with the revised plan.
The STV 78 plan now gives 2.2GB data for five days, which is up by 10 percent as it used to offer 2GB data. The STV 98 now provides 1.2GB data from the previous 1GB for 14 days.
The STV 155 and STV 156 used to offer 2GB and 3GB data for 15 days and 10 days respectively, but the revised plans offer 2.2GB and 3.2GB with same validity.
