There is a dilemma right now in every Jio user's mind in the country whether to subscribe Jio Prime membership scheme or not. In a recent survey conducted by a brokerage firm, Bernstein, it was said that Jio would retain its consumers even getting paid. In addition to that report, here comes yet another survey from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BoAML) saying that majority of Jio users will subscribe to Jio Prime scheme and also touts Jio as the fastest network than others.

Reliance Jio

Elaborating about the survey conducted by BoAML, it's an online survey of 1000 Jio users across India and has come out with its results in a report named 'High Jio Prime take-up, Improving service perceptions.' According to the survey, 84 percent of Jio users confirmed that they would be subscribing to the JioPrime offer. After subscribing, 70 percent of the people confirmed to choose the Rs. 303 monthly plan claiming "such success could surprise estimates positively. Retains ‘Buy’ thanks to such potentially strong catalyst." Also, 12.7 percent people have shown their willingness to subscribe the Rs. 499 plan, whereas 8.5 percent voted for the Rs. 149 plan.

The survey also reveals that 96 percent people are willing to pay for Jio, breaking it as 84 percent JioPrime plans and 12 percent via non-Prime plans. However, customers are prepared to use the Jio network. Another interesting aspect is that 57 percent of users have rated Jio as the fastest data services provider in the country. Well, Airtel and Ookla should be worried now as an intense battle is going on between Airtel and Jio on the Airtel's rating as the fastest mobile network in the country.

JioSurvey Reports

Less than 40 percent of surveyed people said that the speeds have decreased over the last few months, whereas the majority of users voted the speeds as stable and improving. Furthermore, 56 percent of people feel that Jio's call quality is superior to other networks and also claimed that there's a 'sharp improvement' in the voice calling in recent times. However, nearly 20 percent users complained that getting calls through to another network as a painful job. That said, Jio still has to work on voice calling issues, it seems.

This is the second straight survey that went in favour of Reliance Jio. That said, incumbent operators should start worrying now as the month is coming to an end and there might be furthermore improvements in Reliance Jio's services.
