Rumor suggests iPhone 7 Plus to come with 256GB storage and 3100mAh battery, well that’s sure gonna make Apple’s Smart Battery Case obsolete

It’s not been that long since the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus were released by Apple, and the first early rumour we heard about the company’s next major iPhone was rather disappointing to hear, as it said that the iPhone 7 might not feature a regular headphone jack. But a rumour for the larger iPhone 7 (the iPhone 7 Plus) is something that hints at two awesome possibilities. Apparently, the iPhone 7 Plus will come in a 256GB storage model and feature a battery larger than that of the iPhone 6s Plus.Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review - Product Image - 0002

128GB is the highest storage available on the iPhone and iPad, and it will be very interesting to see Apple doubling it for the top-end model with the next iPhone. At a time when smartphones are becoming faster and more powerful at an extremely quick pace, having as much storage as possible is always a nice thing, and 256GB storage out of the box would be a dream come true for many users.

But given how costly the 128GB model of Apple’s current iPhones retails for, a 256GB model would probably be out of the budget of most consumers, especially in India. The rumour doesn’t say if Apple will remove the 16GB storage variant from the lineup. Android manufacturers have shifted to 32GB for the base model of their flagships in recent times, and it’s likely Apple will do the same next year if it intends to add a 256GB variant to the mix.
