BSNL withdraws Rs.56 data STV introduces Rs.109 data STV in East zone circles

Bharat sanchar nigam Ltd. has revised the tariff for its data STV for the East zone circles. BSNL has withdrawn the data STV Rs.56 which used to give the benefit of 250MB 2G or 3G  for 30 days, and in its place introduced a new data STV Rs.109 which gives 300MB 2G or 3G data for 28 days.

Post consumption of 300MB the base charge of 2p/10KB will apply. This change will come in place from 27th August. The details of the tariff change are given below.

The implementation of the tariff is being made in accordance with the 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and guidelines issued by TRAI from time to time. The respective circles will inform the subscribers through SMS about the change in tariff. Readers are requested to confirm with customer care before recharging with this denomination. Earlier we reported that BSNL has launched unlimited data plans starting at Rs.399 for North and South zones.
