Lenovo is emerging as one of the key players in the smartphone market globally. It knows that if it has to stay at the top, it has to update its devices regularly like Samsung does. Lenovo has just started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the flagship device Vibe Z and it has first been spotted in Malaysia.
It has started rolling out as an Over-The-Air (OTA) update and the file size is 1.2 GB so we suggest you download it over Wi-Fi. The update will bring all the regular KitKat goodness and we believe some of the software features will be carried forth from the Motorola devices too. The UI of the smartphone seems to have been revamped a bit for a cleaner look and Wi-Fi signal strengths have improved too alongside a slew of performance and security upgrades.
It can be checked for from the Settings Menu if you are too eager to know about your region's update or else it will show up automatically in your notification taskbar once it becomes available for your region. The update should drop to Indian version of Lenovo Vibe Z soon. Do let us know if you have already received the update for your Vibe Z.
