Exclusive: BSNL to Reduce Pulse Duration of Calls from BSNL Landline/WLL (Fixed)/CDMA (Fixed) by 33%

Starting June 1, 2014 BSNL Landline/WLL (Fixed)/CDMA (Fixed) customers will end up paying more for a same duration call as the pulse duration will be revised. This comes on the heels of marginal revisions announced for prepaid mobile customers.

  1. The impact will be maximum on customers calling BSNL numbers (landline and non-10 digit WLL) as the revision is 33% - earlier 180 seconds to 120 seconds
  2. For calls to BSNL Mobile and 10-digit WLL number plus other networks' landline/WLL (non-10 digit numbers) the revision is 25% - earlier 120 seconds to 90 seconds
