The total bundle (MTS MTag 3.1, mPOS attachment & One year Data plan) would be priced between Rs.3000 – 4000. The average monthly spends on usage of MTS mPOS would be between Rs.200 – Rs.300. This service will be extremely useful for retailers, home-delivery based service models like e-commerce players, food chains, pizza delivery outlets and companies into direct sales model like FMCG, Insurance providers etc.

The payments made and received through MTS mPOS are completely safe and the entire end-to-end solution is PCI (Payment Card industry) DSS (Data Security Standards) compliant. The details of the Credit/Debit Card are encrypted at the time of swipe. The application uses Smartphone’s data connectivity to send the packet out to the host servers. At no point is the card data saved on the phone or on the mPOS attachment.

I WAS an mts subscriber, I port OUT to docomo now. coz EXPENSIVE DATA plans both in 1x and hsd compare to edge n 3g, no roaming incoming free which available in past, lots of stv plans changed like 191 was half paise for lifetime or six months validity now it gives 3 months validity. etc etc
particularly cdma battery drains a quickly.
so if mts start gsm service I will be more happy rather than these kind of worthless gadgets.

SEEMS, MTS IS SURE TO STAY HERE? . THE WAY MTS INTRODUCES NEW LOW COST ENTRY LEVEL HANDSETS, SMART PHONES AND NEW DEVICES, SCHEMES I EXPECT MTS TO CONTINUE TO BAT WITH CARTEL TRIO INCUMBENTS AIRTEL, VODAFONE AND IDEA. MTS & UNINOR PROBABLE STAY WILL DEFINITELY PUT ON HOLD OF THE TARIFF HIKES OF CARTEL TRIO BENEFITING CUSTOMERS. I WISH BOTH MTS AND UNINOR TO STAY. BUT, IF MTS STAYS IT SHOULD IMPROVE ITS NETWORK AS CALL DROPS ARE FREQUENT COMPARED TO YEAR AGO. MAY BE THEY ARE CONCENTRATING MORE ON DATA SERVICES THAN VOICE SERVICE FOR REVENUE. IF AFTER WINNING THE SPECTRUM THEIR NETWORK QUALITY DOES NOT IMPROVE MANY OF US LIKE LOYAL CUSTOMERS WILL MOVE TO OTHER NETWORKS (BARRING CARTEL TRIO).
