Airtel wins TM Forum’s Digital World Award 2016

Airtel has won the TM Forum’s Digital World Award 2016 in the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Improving Business Agility’ category. The award recognized Airtel’s digital business capabilities that is said to have created significant business and revenue opportunities. The digital business capabilities of Airtel include Airtel’s mobile applications for retailers and applications for the sales force. The app for retailers provided real-time data to improve customer support and NPS. The salesforce applications, on the other hand, improved the performance.

Commenting on the win, Harmeen Mehta, Global CIO & Director – Engineering, Bharti Airtel, said, “We are delighted to be recognized by the TM Forum for our digitization efforts.
