Global telecom technology partner Alcatel-Lucent has bagged its second big deal in Indian soil, as Norwegian telecom major Telenor selected Alca-Lu for managing end-to-end operational support and business transformation services in Gujarat, Maharastra and Andra Pradesh.
Recently Alca-Lu won $1 billion deal with Reliance Communications for the 7 year managed services. Last Novemeber Telenor had secured spectrum in 6 circles, and formed a new entity Telewings. Alca-lu will take care of Telewings in 3 circles - Gujarat, Maharastra and Andra Pradesh.
