Idea releases results for second quarter of of FY 2016, Data ARPU increases to Rs.144

Idea cellular has released its consolidated results for the second quarter of 2016 which ended on 30th September. Idea Cellular announces un-audited results for the First Quarter (Q1) ARPU at Rs. 182

Due to changes in the TRAI Interconnect (IUC) regulations (Amendmend XIth and XIIth) effective from March 01, 2015 primarily reducing mobile incoming IUC charges from 20p to 14p/min the revenue figures for this quarter are not comparable to earlier quarters.
