Reliance Mobile To Offer Windows Mobile For Prepaid And Postpaid SubscribersReliance Mobile today announced that it will be offering windows mobile solutions in its wireless network for both prepaid and postpaid users ,as part of the windows mobile solutions rollout Reliance is introducing a special data plan offering a data download of 200MB for Rs 95 per month exclusively to Reliance mobile customers using windows mobile phones.

Windows Mobile, one of India’s fastest selling Smartphone OS,brings new features and tools to smart phones while maintaining unrivaled flexibility, productivity and customization.




New features in Windows Mobile include support for rich HTML e-mail, increased functionality within Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile and Office Mobile programs, and improved security and device management for IT managers.

Windows Mobile customers also get access to more than 20,000 applications, including Microsoft My Phone that allows users to access, manage and back up their personal information on their device to a password-protected Web-based service.

Commenting on the tie-up Mr Vrajesh Shelat, Head Wireless Data Business said, “Our tie-up with Microsoft is part of our overall strategy to strengthen our market share in the fast growing Smartphone segment.  By offering the Windows Mobile Solution, we will be able to address a wider customer base in this segment.  This special data plan for Windows Mobile for post-paid and pre-paid users on Reliance Mobile GSM and CDMA networks will ensure that price is no longer a barrier for premium data services.”
