
Redmi Note 14 5G has seen a price drop in India, a year after its launch in the country. This is also just ahead of the launch of the Redmi Note 15 series in India. Xiaomi confirmed that the Redmi Note 15 series will arrive in India on January 6, 2026. This will be an important phone series for Xiaomi to grow its market share in the country. The Redmi Note 15 5G is expected to be a semi-affordable device as well, paired with the more costly Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G.

Redmi Note 14 5G was launched in India for Rs 17,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant. This was the entry-level price for the Redmi Note 14 5G series in 2024. Currently, this price has been cut by Rs 1,500 to Rs 16,499. Honestly, it is not a huge price cut, but with an HDFC Bank credit card, you can get a further discount of Rs 1,000, lowering the price to Rs 15,499, effectively. There are EMI offers as well, and the phone can be purchased directly from the website of Xiaomi India.
At the time of launch, Xiaomi said that this phone had the brightest display in its segment, and featured a Sony triple-camera setup at the rear. The main sensor at the back is a 50MP Sony sensor paired with an ultrawide 8MP sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, there's a 20MP sensor at the front.
