Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), will be offering ‘Jionet’ High Speed Wi-Fi internet service at Vishwa Hindi Sammelan (World Hindi Conference) to be held between 10th to 12th September at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal.
This three day conference will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and will be attended by Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister of External Affairs Smt Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh and Cinema icon Amitabh Bachchan as the special guest. Dignitaries visiting Lal Parade Ground during this sammelan will be able to experience and reap the benefits of high speed wireless connectivity on hand held devices (smart phones / tablets) through this Wi-Fi network from Reliance Jio.
Commenting on this initiative, a Reliance Jio Spokesperson said, “This year, Vishwa Hindi Sammelan will be a grand event with prominent dignitaries participating from all over the world to propagate and promote Hindi language to establish and make it an important medium of education in India. It will intend to promote the ethos of our ‘Matra Bhasha’ and will promote its use in research and literary works by foreign and Indian nationals. At the event, Jio will be offering its ‘Jionet’ high speed Wi-Fi internet service as we want visitors to sample the digital ecosystem we are building consisting of high speed data networks, specially designed apps and rich content and understand how it can enrich their lives.”

Total 12 Access Points along with 100mbps Internet Leased Line (ILL) has been installed across the location to connect multiple users to the service at a time.
The users’ feedback on the overall experience and network will be used to improve the services further as Jio gets ready for its formal launch.Once 4G LTE service commences, Wi-Fi and LTE networks will operate seamlessly with each other.
