Trai Lowers the Price of 700 Mhz Band by 43% to Attract Buyers

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai), earlier today released its recommendations on the price of 4G and 5G spectrum. Trai recommended a pan-India base price of Rs 492 crore per megahertz for 5G radio waves and lowered the base price of frequencies that remained unsold in the 2016 auctions.
