Bharti Airtel Introduces New Rs 148 Prepaid Plan Bundling 3GB Data, Unlimited Calls for 28 Days

After paying a lot of attention towards its postpaid plans and making some noticeable changes to its postpaid portfolio, Bharti Airtel is back on to revising and introducing new prepaid plans. The telecom operator has been bullish from the past few days and has made its intentions of going against the new telecom entrant, Reliance Jio in an intense manner. To do that, Bhart Airtel is introducing new benefits for its prepaid plans like Amazon Prime and other offers. In a related development, the Sunil Bharti Mittal led telco has launched a new Rs 148 prepaid plan. Here are all the details of the newly launched Bharti Airtel Rs 148 prepaid plan.




Bharti Airtel Rs 148 Prepaid Plan Details

The Rs 148 prepaid plan by Bharti Airtel will bundle 3GB data for the subscribers. The thing to note here is that the 3GB data available to the consumers will be for the entire validity period. Along with this, the plan will also bundle free unlimited, local and STD calls. Additionally, the plan will also bundle 100 SMS per day. The subscribers of the Rs 148 prepaid plan also enjoy some freebies like a subscription to Airtel TV, where users will be able to watch 350+ live channels and more video on demand content. Also, the subscribers will get access to Wynk Music.

Bharti Airtel Revises Rs 1,699 Prepaid Plan

Bharti Airtel has made another major move in its prepaid portfolio and it has to do with the long-term prepaid recharge of Rs 1,699 which Airtel offers for its customers. The change that we are talking about in the 365-days validity plan ups the data benefit of this plan. Previously, the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan used to bundle 1GB data per day along with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and 100 SMS per day in addition to the freebies. However, after the revision of this plan, the prepaid pack will bundle 1.4GB data per day for the subscribers. This plan also bundles Airtel TV subscription where users will be able to enjoy content from HOOQ, ZEE5, and 350+ live channels and 10,000+ movies and TV shows.

Airtel Introduces Free Hello Tunes for its Subscribers

In its attempt to compete head-on with the Mukesh Ambani led telecom operator, Bharti Airtel has also started offering free hello tunes to its subscribers. Previously, the subscribers of Airtel using Hello Tunes were charged Rs 36 per month for these caller tunes. However, with this new move, the hello tunes are now free for the subscribers. Airtel subscribers wishing to set hello tunes on their numbers can open the Wynk Music app and set and change unlimited hello tunes for their number. The subscribers will be able to choose from 12 genres and 15 languages, including English, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and more. The users setting hello tunes for their numbers should also note that they should renew their hello tunes subscription every 30 days as well.
