BSNL's 5G Deployment
BSNL has confirmed that it will start deploying 5G once its 4G deployment of 1 lakh sites is complete. At present, BSNL is testing 5G in Delhi with multiple vendors. The telco's 4G stack is upgradable to 5G at no major cost. BSNL will deploy 5G NSA (non-standalone) like Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi). At present, BSNL's 4G plans are the most affordable in the country. The company has confirmed that it doesn't plan to raise tariffs in the near future. This will position BSNL as the cheapest 4G service provider in India, and it could be a great choice for consumers looking to keep their SIM active at the lowest cost.
