Vodafone Idea has the Cheapest Validity Plan in 2025

Vodafone Idea's Rs 99 prepaid plan comes with 200MB of data only. It offers customers 15 days of service validity, but no outgoing SMS. The calls are charged at 2.5 paise per second. Even though there are no outgoing SMSes, TRAI has mandated the telcos to allow SMSes to 1900 for porting out.

Highlights

  • Vodafone Idea (Vi), the third-largest telecom operator in India, has the cheapest validity plan in 2025.
  • With this plan, users get service validity under Rs 100.
  • No other private telecom operator is offering such a plan to the customers.

vodafone idea has the cheapest validity plan

Vodafone Idea (Vi), the third-largest telecom operator in India, has the cheapest validity plan in 2025. With this plan, users get service validity under Rs 100. No other private telecom operator is offering such a plan to the customers. Vi needs to improve its ARPU (average revenue per user), however, it needs to continue offering this cheap plan to sustain the 2G customer base. The plan we are talking about comes for Rs 99.

However, just before we go ahead and discuss the benefits of the Rs 99 plan from Vi, it is worth noting that the government has asked telcos to come up with new plans. These new plans should bundle voice + SMS and validity. There should be no data in this as this will be for customers who don't require data.
