Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has launched 5G in all 17 licensed service areas (LSAs) in India. This is a very small-scale launch by the company and thus not many users would be able to enjoy it still. However, this marks Vi's entry into the 5G domain commercially. The telco has deployed 5G on both the 3.3 GHz and 26 GHz spectrum. Note that the service is available now for both prepaid and postpaid users of the company. Mentioned below are the cities in the LSAs and the areas in the cities where the service is now available. Vodafone Idea's 5G in mid-band or 3.5 GHz band is available in 17 circles, including - Rajasthan (Jaipur, near Galaxy Cinema, Mansarovar Industrial Area, RIICO); Haryana (Karnal, HSIIDC, Industrial Area, Sector-3); Kolkata (Sector V, Salt Lake), Kerala (Thrikkakara, Kakkanad); UP East (Lucknow, Vibhuti Khand, Gomtinagar); UP West (Agra, Near J.P. Hotel, Fatehbad Road); Madhya Pradesh (Indore, Electronic Complex, Pardeshipura); Gujarat (Ahemadabad, Near Divya Bhaskar, Corporate Road, Makarba, Prahladnagar); Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad, Aida Upal, Ranga Reddy); West Bengal (Siliguri, City Plaza Sevok Road); Bihar (Patna, Anishabad Golamber); Mumbai (Worli, Marol Andheri East); Karanataka (Bengaluru, Dairy Circle); Punjab (Jalandhar, Kot Kalan); Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Perungudi, Nesapakkam); Maharashtra (Pune, Shivaji Nagar); and Delhi (Okhla Industrial Area, Phase 2, India Gate, Pragati Maidan).

In all of the same sites, Vi has also deployed the N258 or the 2.6 GHz band, except for in Bihar. Currently, the 5G services are commercially available in select areas only. This includes Pune, Delhi, Chennai, and Jalandhar.
To ensure you get access to Vi's 5G, prepaid customers need to recharge with the Rs 475 pack, while the postpaid users need to recharge with the REDX 1101 plan.
