US operator Frontier Communications announced this week the launch of a 7 Gbps broadband service across its entire FTTH footprint. Frontier said this upgrade follows the company's earlier rollouts of 2 Gbps and 5 Gbps services. The new 7 Gbps offering promises download and upload speeds up to 200 times faster than traditional cable, powered by the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology.
