Reliance Communications, which is under immense pressure for not sustaining the current Indian telecom market has come up with a unique offer. The company is offering up to 28 percent discount for its postpaid plans and that too for one year.

RCom has announced that there will be a discount of up to 28 percent for users who subscribe to the plans online via the company's portal- rcom-eshop.com. However, this offer is limited only for circles where RCom has the 4G presence. The offer is available for circles- Delhi, Mumbai, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

As said earlier, you have to choose the plan online, and the SIM card will be delivered to your doorstep by an RCom executive. Also, the offer is applicable for only three postpaid plans- Rs. 699, Rs. 499, and Rs. 299. After the discount, the plans will be available for just Rs. 499, Rs. 399, and Rs. 249 respectively. That said, users will be charged the discounted rates for one year, making it a total discount of Rs. 2400.

Coming to the benefits offered by three plans- the Rs. 499 plan is the best of the three as it gives 30GB data irrespective of your handset model (4G/3G/2G), along with unlimited voice calls to any network across India including incoming and outgoing roaming calls. There would be 3000 SMS per billing cycle, and the plan will be valid for 30 days.

The Rs. 399 plan gives 15GB data, unlimited voice calls (incoming and outgoing roaming calls as well), 3000 SMS for 30 days. Lastly, the Rs. 239 plan gives unlimited voice calls to any network in home circle and free incoming roaming calls. However, the roaming outgoing calls will be charged at regular rates (50 paise/ minute), and 100 SMS for 30 days. The national SMS will be charged at 25 paise/ SMS.

Apparently, the Rs. 499 plan is offering 1GB data at just Rs. 16.66; the Rs. 399 plan is giving 1GB data at just Rs. 26.66, while the Rs. 239 plan is providing 1GB data at Rs. 39.

What do you think about these plans of RCom? Will it help the company to get back the lost momentum? Let us know in the comments section below.
