Xiaomi Redmi 1S priced at Rs 5,999, registrations open today

After listing the Redmi 1S on Flipkart, Xiaomi has announced its price and availability through their official social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter. The Redmi 1S is priced at Rs 5,999, which is Rs 1,000 lower than what Xiaomi had quoted during its announcement in India. Xiaomi to launch 4G LTE smartphones soon

During the launch even of Xiaomi Redmi Note in Taiwan, Lin Bin, co-founder and president of Xiaomi stated that they are working on releasing 4G LTE compliant smartphones. Xiaomi will launch its smartphones in India and 9 other key markets this year

As we reported earlier, Xiaomi plans to enter India this year along with 9 other countries.
