Samsung Launches 3G-Enabled Slider Phone C5130 In IndiaSamsung Electronics Co. Ltd has launched C5130, a 3G-enabled entry-level slider phone in the Indian market, targeting the youth segment.

“The C3150 mobile is targeted at the youth who are looking at staying connected with their friends at all times, need fast and easy internet access and good multimedia features in their phones, all features being made available to them in an attractively priced package, as indeed the C5130 does,” Ranjit Yadav, Director –IT & Telecom, Samsung India Electronics said.




The home screen of the handset has shortcuts to social networking sites like Orkut, Picassa, Facebook and YouTube among others. The model has an HTML browser, enabling Internet browsing on the mobile.

Samsung C5130 is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera with an image editor, Bluetooth connectivity, MP3 player, FM Radio, 3 pre-loaded types of User Interface, expandable memory upto 8GB and mobile tracker. C5130 provides longer talk time of upto 13 hours.

The model is priced at Rs 6,200.
