BSNL revises prepaid data packs by reducing validity

After a short interval BSNL has yet again reduced validity of its prepaid data packs. Validity of most of the data packs has been reduced by up to 2 days. The new plans will come into effect from 23-02-2015.

Validity of basic Rs 17 90MB pack remains unchanged at 2 days. Rs 39 200MB pack validity reduced to 6 days from current 7 days and Rs 78 450Mb pack validity reduced to 12 days from current 14 days. Similarly, Rs 98 650Mb pack validity has been reduced to 17 days from current 19 days.




BSNL currently has three 1GB packs on offer and reduced validity all packs. Rs 139 1GB pack reduced to 19 days from current 20 days. Rs 155 and Rs 176 pack validity reduced to 26 days and 28 days respectively.

As promotional offer BSNL is giving 60 days and 90 days validity on high-value data packs. Rs 561 5GB data pack will give 60 days validity and Rs 821 7GB, Rs 1011 10GB, Rs 1949 20GB data packs gives 90 days validity. This promotional offer is only for a period of 90 days.

BSNL offer one of the cheapest 3G data packs in the country. But recently has been hiking the cost by the means of reducing validity and introducing new higher value data pack for higher validity.
