Aircel rolled out its GSM Mobile service in Uttar Pradesh East and West both telecom circles as its 15th and 16th circle on the Company’s Pan India operation.
Aircel launched specially tailored tariff plan for Uttar Pradesh with lowest local call charges as of 40 paisa.The Aircel lifetime Prepaid Plan for mobile customers are expected to set off a new tariff war, as the plan boasts of call rates as low as 40 paisa a minute.
The Lifetime Validity of prepaid plan are available for Rs 99 with Starter Kit which will allow users to make local calls at Rs.1 for the first minute, 60 paisa for the second minute and 40 paisa for the third minute onwards. Calls between UP East and UP west will be treated as local call
Aircel is also offering free Incoming while roaming in Bihar within Aircel network for the first 90 days from the day of activation. The ISD calls are charged Rs 1.75 per minute to USA and Canada, along with 300 free messages, as part of this plan.Aircel-to-Aircel STD (domestic long distance) calls can be made at 50 paisa per minute Customer care number for Aircel UP East is 9807012345 and 121 and for UP West its is 9808012345 and 121.
Aircel started its operation in TamilNadu in 1999 and slowly moved into nine telecom circles in north east and south moreover aircel has also gained additional spectrum for 13 new circles in Mumbai, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Rajasthan, Punjab and UP East & West.In next few days Aircel will be also launching its services in Mumbai and Maharashtra circles.
