Global Operators Propel LTE and 5G Deployments

In its July 2023 report released by the Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSA), a total of 816 operators worldwide have commercially launched public LTE networks, offering broadband fixed wireless access and/or mobile services. Nokia Networks and TeliaSonera partner for demo of LTE-Advanced three-band Carrier Aggregation technology

Finnish vendor Nokia Networks and Nordic telecom group TeliaSonera have conducted a live demonstration of LTE-Advanced three-band Carrier Aggregation (3x CA) using Category 9 (CAT 9) devices. In the demonstration, data rates of 375Mbps on a commercial network was achieved, which is an industry-first in Nordic region.
