Apple and Samsung are working on e-SIMs which could simplify MNP

The SIM cards may disappear, says a report by Financial Times. According to Financial Times, Apple and Samsung are in discussion with mobile carriers to develop standards for e-SIM cards, which would provide the customers the ability to switch carriers without getting a new SIM card.
