LANDLINE SERVICE PROVIDER CAN NOT USE ’95’ SERIES ANYMORE

The 95 dialling, which was introduced for intra-state landline communication, will soon be removed from all landline and Fix wireless operator. RELIANCE ADDS 3.3 MN CUSTOMERS IN FEBRUARY

Reliance Communications (RCom) has added 3.38 million new customers in February 2009 on both GSM and CDMA networks, increasing its total subscriber base to 69.38 million.However,this is below RCom’s subscriber addition of around 5 million recorded during the previous month. MOBILE TARIFFS TO COME DOWN,TRAI CHOPS CALL TERMINATION CHARGES

Indian Telecom regulator TRAI today slashed call termination charges by 33 per cent, a move which would result in bringing down the mobile tariffs for consumers.
