BSNL WILL GET ‘MAHA-NAVRATNA’ STATUS

State own telecom Operator BSNL will get the desired 'Mahanavaratna' status by Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Government of India. With the slot of Navratnas getting crowded, the government is considering to classify some of them as `Maha Navratna’ companies based on their performance. BSNL LAUNCHES WIMAX SERVICE IN GOA

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launches WiMAX the wireless broadband service in Goa. The wireless broadband initiative would spread the expansion of broadband connections in the country according to a statement issued by the BSNL.
