BSNL to Increase Landline/CDMA (Fixed) Rentals, Reduce Freebies for Rural ‘General’ Customers

Customers in rural areas using General plan of BSNL Landline/CDMA fixed wireless phones (WLL) will have to pay more starting 01 May 2014. The rent is set to increase by a marginal amount of Rs. 10 per month and free calls (off-net) will be reduced by 10 units/month. The call charges and free on-net call units remain same. BSNL Hikes Tariffs of Select Broadband Unlimited Plans

After announcing tariff hikes across limited data usage plans, BSNL is now working towards increasing tariffs for Unlimited and Unlimited Differential Speed Plans.
