IDC Report : Smartphone Sales in India Jump Threefold, Samsung Continues to hold No 1 Spot

The smartphones sale in India has increased threefold in the second quarter of the current calendar year, with shipments growing over 50% sequentially. Samsung continues to hold the number one position, accounting for 26% market share, followed by Indian phone maker Micromax and Karbonn that took the second and third positions cornering market shares of 22% and 13%, respectively  in last quarter according to IDC report.
