BSNL and Reliance Jio Top Wired and Wireless Broadband Service Provider Chart Respectively Until February 2017

Yesterday, we reported that Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had received a total of 5.67 million MNP requests in February 2017. According to the data acquired by TRAI, the number of broadband subscribers (wired+wireless) increased to 261.31 million at the end of February 2017. Broadband Connections in India Were Up by 6.54% at the End of December 2016: TRAI

The total number of broadband internet subscribers in India has increased to 391.50 million at the end of December 2016 from 367.48 million in September 2016, registering a quarterly growth rate of 6.54 percent. India’s total broadband user base is 99.20 million as of March 2015, rural user base stands at 25.51 million

India’s rural broadband user base has reached 25.51 million, with Karnataka being the state with the highest rural users. Around 2.77 million users are from rural Karnataka.
