5G spectrum reserve price may not go down any further in India. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has already cut the price of the airwaves for the telcos. 5G Spectrum Auction: TRAI Recommends 40% Cut in Spectrum Pricing

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recommended including airwaves in the following spectrum bands in the upcoming 5G spectrum auction — 526-698 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz, 3300- 3670 MHz and 24.25-28.5 GHz. Jio Readying for 5G With $750 Million Fund Raise

Reliance Jio is raising $750 million (approximately Rs 5,700 crore) via an offshore syndicated loan for funding the capex requirements, which will come for 5G. PM Office Wants 5G Rollout by August 15, 2022: DoT to TRAI

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has written to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) asking the regulatory body to submit recommendations for 5G spectrum auctions before March-end.
