Reliance Communications sees decline in net profit

The net profit of India's fourth-biggest mobile service provider, Reliance Communications (RCom) has fallen by 77%, to Rs 153 crore for the quarter ending September. The company’s revenue fell 7.4% from last year to Rs 5,403 crore. The company has added fewer new customers. Subscribers in North India were hassled as Reliance Communications’ network crashed yesterday. Many users vented out their anger on Facebook page of RCom. The network was down in states like Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi-NCR, according to the RCom users.
