MTS INDIA TIE UP WITH TATA FOR ROAMING SERVICES

GSM OPERATOR OPPOSE 11 DIGIT NUMBER PLAN

GSM mobile service providers are opposing the 11-digit mobile numbering proposal on grounds that it would inconvenience the country’s 390 million subscribers. BSNL PUTS 3G MOBILE SERVICE ON HOLD IN GUJARAT

BSNL has put on hold its ambitious 3G network plans for Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar the problem being that Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has mandated a fine of Rs 50,000 for mobile service providers who choose to erect towers on buildings that do not have Building Use permission.
