Xiaomi is allegedly working on the successor to its MiPad 7.9, which was launched earlier this year. The new tablet has caused quite a stir as it was spotted in China. However, as of now, we can not assure that these images of the MiPad are authentic
The big scoop in this rumour is that Xiaomi has integrated Intel chipset coupled with a 1.8 GHz CPU, in contradiction with the MiPad 7.9, which comes integrated with Nvidia Tegra SoC.
The MiPad 2 might boast the same screen size of 7.9-inches with 2048x1536 resolution, just like its predecessor. It can also comes with 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of inbuilt storage. It might run Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI on top.
Besides this information, we don’t have any scoop on the availability of the MiPad. Although, we can surely expect to get across more information if this leak proves to have solid grounds.
